What is it?
DermaOtic is a mild, pH-neutral ear cleaner for dogs and cats. It cleans and disinfects the ear canal without irritating the skin, loosens dried earwax and leaves the canal clean and dry. DermaOtic is part of the Derma-Prescription range.
Why DermaOtic?

When should it be used?
- Preventive and repeated cleaning of the ears.
- Supportive care for ear-canal infections on veterinary advice.
- For animals prone to ear problems or producing large amounts of earwax.
Directions for use
- Shake the bottle well and turn the transparent cap to the right to open.
- Lift the ear so the ear canal is visible.
- Carefully remove visible dirt and excess wax with cotton wool. Never use a cotton bud, which may push debris deeper into the canal.
- Insert the bottle tip into the canal and gently squeeze in 1–2 ml of DermaOtic.
- Massage the base of the ear canal gently. A gurgling sound indicates sufficient massage.
- Allow the animal to shake its head so loosened debris is expelled; clean ears outdoors where possible.
- Dry the ear with cotton wool. A cotton pad soaked in DermaOtic is convenient for the ear flap.
Repeat one to three times a week or follow the veterinarian’s instructions.
