Organic material such as manure, feed and biofilm inactivates most disinfectants. Without thorough cleaning, the product cannot reach the pathogen and most of the disinfection effort is wasted.
02How do I keep the drinking-water line clean?
Clean the line with Virkon™S at 1% during downtime and treat water in occupied housing with 1 kg of Virkon™S per 1,000 litres. This controls biofilm and keeps microbial counts under control.
